Located in the heart of Europe, Republic of Lithuania is a European country on the eastern coast of the Baltic Sea. Lithuania borders on the Russian Federation, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Latvia and the Republic of Poland. Vilnius is the capital of Lithuania. The city possesses a rich cultural and historical heritage; the Old Town of Vilnius was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
Lithuania Is a Schengen state. Therefore, a Lithuanian residence permit allows you to enjoy the full European experience, as there are 25 other countries one can visit without having to apply for an additional Visa. Higher education in Lithuania is available at Universities or Colleges. The higher education institutions follow the guidelines of the Bologna declaration. National parks are set up in the country’s most beautiful places – there are as many as five of them in Lithuania Minor. Most importantly – Lithuania has preserved the naturalness, unpolluted and fresh air.

Lithuanian people are simple, calm and can be somewhat shy with foreigners, but friendly and good-intended when you get to know them. They are keen to share our experience and their way of life with the rest of the world.
vi) Fastest Internet in Europe:
Lithuania is reputed to have some of the fastest internet in the world. According to a study by Ookla Net Metrics, Lithuania had the second fastest Internet download and the fastest upload speed in the world in June 2013. In 2013 at least two ISPs in Lithuania offered download speeds of up to 300 Mbit/s in their standard packages for home users.
